The best time to see orchids along the Inca Trail is during the
months of March, April & May, just after the end of the wet
season. However many different species can be seen throughout the
year. Most of the photos shown below were taken by Bernabe
Ccorimanya Merma whilst working as a porter on the Inca Trail in
2007. Bernabe now works in the Peru Treks office and helps
coordinate our Community Projects in the Ausangate region.
